For 40 years we’ve been focused on providing lifelong-learning opportunities that enable working adults to reach their personal and professional goals. During the last 15 years the company has assisted renowned universities in expanding enrollment, increasing revenue and advancing their mission through the development of online undergraduate degree, graduate degree and professional certificate programs. Over the same time, our University Alliance division has facilitated the delivery of these programs to students, taking care of marketing, recruitment and enrollment, program delivery and support. Founded in 1971, Bisk Education originally served the continuing education needs of accounting and tax professionals exclusively. The company expanded its services by harnessing the latest technologies, developing superior new methods for the delivery of self-study educational programs to working professionals. In 1995, after the successful development of Internet-based, instructor-led online programs for our traditional market, we began building relationships with some of the nation’s leading universities, providing the opportunity to extend their reach to a worldwide audience of adult learners by bringing their programs online. In 1997 Bisk facilitated the launch of a professor-led, video-based online master’s degree program – the first of its kind – on behalf of one of our university partners. Bisk has since enrolled students from more than 70 countries for our partner universities, offering 24/7 access to hundreds of programs through our Learning Management System.
With more than 750 employees – and growing – operating out of our 135,000-square-foot corporate campus in Tampa, Florida, we are a totally self-sufficient organization. Our team includes an award-winning in-house advertising agency comprised of interactive designers, copywriters, SEO professionals, brand and marketing managers, plus experts in media planning and buying; a technology group consisting of web developers, software engineers and network administrators, R&D engineers, educational course designers and technical writers; state-of-the-art video production and audio recording studios; bookstore, fulfillment center, customer and 24/7 technical support; and student-facing enrollment representatives. The Bisk team also features experts who support our accounting continuing education and test prep divisions, as well as dedicated military and executive education specialists.
