

Position Summary:
The Compensation Analyst will be assisting with the design, planning, analysis, administration, and implementation of sales teams’ compensation structures. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining data requirements for the administration and modification of compensation plans, including but not limited to the processing and/or communication of base pay structure and variable incentive programs. The Compensation Analyst will be expected to provide recommendations to Managers, and implement compensation programs in order to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. This position will be exposed to all areas of compensation including extensive data manipulation and analysis, market-pricing, annual salary review, bonus, and sales incentive compensation.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Perform analyses on current compensation structure
• Propose and analyze alternative structures and their impact on the company from both a bottom line and strategic perspective
• Provide recommendations on salary, commission, and bonus guidelines through analysis of both internal data and external data
• Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance
• Make recommendation for compensation plans which are cost effective, consistent with trends, meet the needs of employees, and align to corporate objectives
• Provide information, advice, and reports to the Management Team to make compensation-related decisions
• Ability to manage confidential employee and company information in a professional manner
• Assist in budgeting process as requested
• Perform other analyses as requested by management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferably finance or accounting), with at least two years experience in financial or data analysis, or equivalent experience and education required
• Ability to multi-task, communicate with different levels of management, and work in close partnership with others on the finance team
• Strong data management and analytic skills
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
