Integration Into Your LMS |
Our fully electronic online application system allows your applicants and administrators to easily track the application process in a user-friendly central location. Forms are designed to your exact specifications, allowing the application to mimic the processes already in place on your campus. As students complete the process they can include any university-required electronic documents such as transcripts, resumes and letters of recommendation.
Our Enrollment Order System helps students enroll in courses following their program plan. It also ensures seat availability and that all students are entered into the Learning Management System. It provides students the option of paying their associated tuition and book fees, then viewing enrollment details, payment method chosen and legal terms/conditions before accepting them via electronic signature. Enrollment confirmation e-mail provides a receipt, followed by shipping notifications that include delivery method and tracking information.
We work with all Learning Management System (LMS) types – from industry-standard platforms to university-designed systems – to help you extend your ground-based program. Or, if you don’t have an LMS or don’t want the challenge of maintaining one, we provide a customizable, fully functional interactive learning environment that offers PC, Mac and mobile device compatibility. If you have questions, one-on-one support is available for university administration, faculty and staff.
As a Microsoft® Certified Provider, Bisk maintains an in-house technology group comprised of web developers, software engineers, network administrators, research and development engineers, educational course designers, technical writers and quality assurance professionals. This team ensures that the technology is state-of-the-art and runs smoothly all day, every day.
Our systems are monitored and supported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Communication links to the Internet are expanded before we reach maximum capacity to ensure access for all our users. All our mission-critical web servers are co-located in Qwest Communication’s CyberCenter facilities, ensuring the safety and uptime of our servers. Each Qwest CyberCenter is designed to withstand disastrous conditions relative to its location, ensuring that the systems and equipment continue to run even under extreme conditions.
Our system architecture provides for real-time redundancy with load balancing over multiple servers. This provides the added benefit of allowing system maintenance without any loss of service to our students.
We have more than 120,000 active e-learning students each year utilizing the system on a world-wide basis and have experienced a 99.999% uptime rate over the last five years.
