Bisk Creates Strategic Roles Focusing on Academics and Partnerships

Client Success Is Paramount in Bisk’s Newest Leadership Moves

TAMPA, Fla., December 18, 2020 — Bisk, a leading partner in education solutions for nearly 50 years, announces the promotion of Dr. Jennifer King to Executive Director, Academic Success, and the onboarding of client-service veteran David Blinn, SVP, Partner Success.

Dr. Jennifer KingDr. King has been in higher education for more than two decades. She earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology and Educational Tests & Measurement from University of South Florida College of Education and an undergrad from New York University. Employed at Bisk since 2018, she previously served more than a decade as associate professor and assistant dean for Florida Southern College. More recently, she ran a consulting practice centered around education technology.

Now, at Bisk, Dr. King’s focus is on the continued success of university partners like Michigan State University and Villanova University, two of Bisk’s longest-tenured partnerships. In her newly expanded role, Dr. King will continue to oversee the academic success of university partners while also providing expertise to corporations and non-profit organizations. “Our academic success at Bisk is a collective and collaborative effort. I am excited to be serving on the Bisk team in this new leadership role,” said Dr. King.

David Blinn

David Blinn brings a strong and versatile business acumen to Bisk, having spent over 30 years at the forefront of digital transformation. First in military, holding early digital roles at the National Security Agency (NSA). David also led the digital change at MetLife by bringing learning and development and banking operations online. Most recently, David’s leadership helped pioneer a new digital marketing category that reshaped how retailers like Walmart, CVS and Staples reached shoppers online. A graduate of Hawaii Pacific University (BA) and Northcentral University (MBA) and an Army veteran, Blinn will lead the Partnerships, Marketing, Market Research and Business Development teams at Bisk and partner seamlessly with the Learning Design and Student Success teams.

David’s excitement to join the company during its growth mode is evident: “Helping clients succeed has shaped my career. And the opportunity to bring passionate and experienced teams together to deliver a differentiated level of service within higher ed is very compelling to me,” said Blinn.
